The Enterprise Lab XMPP aka Jabber server is online. This Page should give you enough informations to connect your client to our Server.
The Client to Server communication is encrypted with TLS.

If you already know what your doing, you can use these Settings:

Remember, Port 5223 is not active! Old style SSL encryption is not available on this server. Use TLS encryption (forced) on Port 5222.
Please don't forget that the Enterprise Lab changed the Directory Service from HSLU Active Directory to Enterprise Lab LDAP. This step makes it necessary for every user to set himself a new password. Please follow the steps here.

You can create your own room with your own settings if you want. This gives you the possibility to have a group chat with specific persons you want to chat with.
In Adium, go to File→Join Group Chat and choose you Settings:
